執業律師？三K黨！ - 古德明

答：這一句的is admitted應改為was admitted，因為「獲授資格」已是過去的行為，應用過去式動詞was；the Singapore's Bar應改為the Singapore Bar，正如the Hong Kong University（香港大學）不應寫作the Hong Kong's University；又that directory宜改為 the Bar Directory，因為in that directory指「在那名冊上」，但沒有說明「那名冊」是什麼名冊。當然，假如前文已提及 the Bar Directory，那麼，that directory就不必更改。
問：三K黨的全名Ku Klux Klan是什麼意思？
答：三K黨的黨徽是個圓圈，中有一十字架。希臘文kuklos即「圓圈」，英文clan即「黨」。Ku Klux Klan應該就是Kuklos Clan的變體，中文叫「三K黨」，英文則略作KKK，例如：A white-hooded member of the KKK threw a bomb into the crowd at an anti-racism rally（一個戴白頭罩三K黨員向反種族歧視集會的人群扔了個炸彈）。三K黨員也可叫Ku Kluxer或Ku Klux Klansman。
