British property tycoon Manny Davidson was trying to avoid inheritance tax by passing his wealth on early. That led to his children banning him and his wife from their own home.
Manny and his wife created a trust fund for son Gerald and daughter Maxine.
The couple had also sought to save their children from future inheritance tax bills by registering them as the owners of Lyegrove, the stately home they bought in 1993.
Yet their children have put the home up for sale and Manny Davidson and his wife say they have been prevented from setting foot on the property where they lived for 20 years.
He urges parents not to worry about inheritance tax, but to keep their money and spend it on what they want.
